I am Giselda Costa. I have a PhD in Linguistics from the Federal University of Pernambuco- Brazil / Faculty of Psychology and
Educational Sciences, University of Coimbra – Portugal. Currently doing Masters at the Linguistics
Center at the State University of Piaui – Brazil. I'm currently developing a project for teachers who
work in basic education with needy students in the city of Teresina- Piaui- Brazil. The ItinerantLiteracy Pr#ject aims to plan visits to schools to help language teachers on various topics, including:
how to work with students with hearing or visual problems in teaching languages using some
technologies, how to work with FakeNews in a mother tongue and foreign language classroom and
how to explore critical visual literacy (images/video clips) in a language classroom.
We are also developing several activity designers to improve language skills and critical thinking
about the environment. According to The International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) that in
Brazil, about 2 million tons of waste will stop in the oceans every year. See an example of activities, in addition, I have already built a basic English course for students, with
the aim of improving the language barrier, such as: instrumental English course, conversational English course. I was
